2018 Throwback

2018 Throwback

This is where the similarities to Bordeaux really shine. With the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon as the base of this "Left Bank" styled wine, the addition of Merlot and Cabernet Franc create layers of complexities, adding more mouthfeel (one of the great characteristics of Merlot) and perfume of violets and rose petals to the nose (thanks to Cabernet Franc). This wine shows great backbone and structure with hints of black & red fruit, plum, sage and cedar. The fine grained tannins will give this wine years in the cellar but it is already drinking beautifully upon release.
